Water Conservation Badge Visit

Last Friday, 23 of the Beaver Scouts visited the NeWater Plant at Bedok as part of their Water Conservation Badge Scheme requirement. As part of the visit, the Scouts were informed about the water resources of Singapore and out 4 main National Taps of Water.

The visit was well-guided by the PUB full-time staffs who brought the Scouts around the Plant showing them each step of the Water Recycling System. Through this visit, Scouts would have learnt better on how to manage our water resources more efficiently and responsibly both at work and home.

At the end of the NeWater plant visit, the Scouts had to submit a report on Water Conservation and the things that they learnt through the visit, in order for them to earn a Proficiency badge on their sleeves.
